St. Patrick’s Day is a big deal in our house. Not because we have some Irish blood in our heritage (we do), but because we have a wonderful leprechaun that visits us each year. We are so fond of our leprechaun that we don’t try to catch him. Instead, the children make him a gift and leave it out next to a partially opened window. He always returns the favor with harmless mischief and green fun. Here’s some pictures of his past visits. Perhaps they will inspire you to attract your own leprechaun..
One year the kids made a trail for him to follow in our backyard. The leprechaun had fun messing up the trail and leaving evidence of his visit!
The Leprechaun left a beautiful trail of his own.
Last year My daughter drew a sign on the sliding glass door encouraging the leprechaun to visit.
The leprechaun accommodated by playing quite a few tricks inside our house. Besides turning the milk and yogurt green (a yearly occurrence), he strung up the kids’ shoes and messed up the kitchen!
Happy St. Patrick’s Day to all of you. Hope you get a visit from the leprechaun!
